Ghana Cylinder Manufacturing Company Limited (GCMC) recently hosted a delegation from Blue Ocean Investment on a working visit aimed at familiarising themselves with the Company’s standard operating procedures for the refurbishment of LPG cylinders under the Cylinder Recirculation Model (CRM).
In his opening remarks, the Managing Director of GCMC, Mr Abdul-Rahman Mankir warmly welcomed the Blue Ocean Investment team and expressed appreciation for the strong and sustained collaboration between the two institutions.
He reaffirmed GCMC’s commitment to working closely with key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the CRM and the delivery of safe and reliable LPG cylinders to the Ghanaian public.
The team, led by the Head of Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), Mr. Bulali, toured GCMC’s facilities and observed the various stages of the cylinder refurbishment process.
Mr. Bulali expressed satisfaction with the standards and practices observed and commended GCMC for its commitment to safety and quality. He further offered insightful recommendations geared towards enhancing operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
The visit reinforced the shared commitment of both institutions to safety, operational excellence, and the overall objectives of the Cylinder Recirculation Model.
